NATCO Trust has opened a gym at Gollamudipadu village, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. Mr Rajeev Nannapaneni, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Natco inaugurated the facility.
The Natco Government High School in Borabanda has been converted into an isolation centre and the civic body has provided it with the necessary infrastructure including 40 beds. Three doctors, six nurses and support staff will monitor the patients round-the-clock at the centre. Jubilee Hills MLA Mr Maganti gopinath and Mr Baba Fasiuddin, ex- deputy mayor and current corporator were present at the inaguration.
Natco Trust has undertaken many activities to help people in the rural areas fight the pandemic. From donating COVID Home isolation medicine kits, providing counselling to positive patients and donating infrastructure to the hospitals amongst others, Natco Trust’s many initiatives are helping people at the grassroot level.

Mr. Anjaiah Yadav, MLA inaugurated the Anganwadi (which was previously a government school and converted with the help of NATCO Trust) at Pittlaguda village, Kothur Mandal, RR District-Telangana.
Natco Trust organized a plasma donation drive by recovered Covid patients from Natco. The donation was directed to Rotary Blood Bank and Give Red and was held at Challa Hospital, Ameerpet, Hyderabad.
NATCO’s Comprehensive Cancer Center in the premises of Guntur General Hospital was virtually inaugurated by the Hon’ble CM of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy. Built in the memory of Natco’s Chairman’s parents, Shri Lokadityudu and Smt. Sita Ravamma Nannapaneni, the hospital spread over 80000 sqft will provide state-of-the-art treatment free of cost to Cancer patients.

Our CEO, Mr Rajeev Nannapaneni met the honorable Minister for IT, Mr KTR and donated Personal Protection equipment (PPE) kits worth Rs 2.5 crores as well as medicines and equipment worth Rs 1.5 crores to the Telangana government to help the government’s fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Ms Sabita Indira Reddy, Minister for Education, Government of Telangana visited the Natco Government High School Borabanda, Hyderabad. She interacted with the students and teachers to raise awareness about Corona virus and to ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of school and children.
The event held to mark 25 years of Natco High School was a celebratory affair. The Chief guest Shri Harish Rao, Minister of Finance, Telangana, spoke of the importance of education and lauded the contribution of Natco Trust in making the school a center for excellence.
The annual anganwadi day at NHS, Rangapur – Sopana was a celebratory event which saw over 700 people in attendance including children, parents, ICDS staff and public representatives. Speaking at the event, Ms Swati Kantamani, Head-Natco Trust reasserted that education is the first priority of the Trust and the main objective is to strengthen Anganwadis and schools, so as to provide quality education to children.
The annual Parent-Teacher meeting was held at Natco School of Learning. After the meeting in which the parents were apprised of their ward’s progress an interactive session between the parents and the management (including the Trust) was conducted in which the parents put forth their many concerns which were allayed by the management.
Natco Trust played an active part in the renovation of the orthopaedic wing at Guntur General Hospital. Through the Trust’s contribution, the new wing with a 14 bed ICU ward and Laminar modular Operation theater was inaugurated by Shri Nannapaneni Venkaiah Chowdary, Chairman and Managing Director, Natco Pharma Limited.
The LVPEI Natco Eye Centre at Kothur celebrated its first anniversary on December 2, 2018. Our CEO and VC, Mr Rajeev Nannapaneni visited the facility on the occasion and congratulated the doctors, staff and other members of the Hospital.

The Bhoomipuja for the cancer ward being constructed by NATCO Trust was conducted by Dr Kamineni Srinivas. The Trust has contributed Rs 16 crore for the 100 bed ward.
Natco Trust supported the construction of a 32-bedded paediatric ward with a waiting hall and renovated an old paediatric ward at Guntur Government Hospital. The ward was inaugurated by our Chairman, Mr. V.C.Nannapaneni on 21st November 2016
Natco Trust has launched a year-long initiative to address severe acute malnourishment among children aged 0 – 5 years in Kothur in October, 2016.
Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE), a National Programme implemented by the Government of India conducted a district level science exhibition at Natco School of Learning, Guntur.
After school tuition centres were established in Government Primary School, Borabanda & in Kothur Programme area to cater to about 250 and 100 children respectively and help them improve their fundamentals in language and Math.

As a part of World Breastfeeding Week celebration, a series of awareness programmes were conducted to educate antenatal and postnatal women on the need and importance of breastfeeding at our nutrition centres in Kothur & Nagarjunasagar Programme areas.
A 6th batch of pre-primary teacher training course is underway as a part of Natco’s vocational training to provide better livelihoods for all. Natco trust set up a Pre-Primary Teacher Training center in Hyderabad, franchised by SETWIN (Society for Employment Promotion and Training in Twin Cities).
A cancer awareness programme is being organised by Natco Trust on an ongoing basis every Wednesday at a few Government Schools in Hyderabad. Adolescent girls are being educated on the importance of personal hygiene as well as about the key risk factors of cancer and eliminating their fears and misconception about the disease.
Gender segregated functional toilets were constructed by Natco Trust for school children in a Zilla Parishad school in Inumulnarva village, Kothur district, Telangana
Natco Trust organised a healthy baby show to promote awareness about positive health of children. The event provided an opportunity to recognize parents and anganwadi workers who set good examples to motivate other mothers about healthy standards of raising a baby. The babies’ immunisation records were also looked into and referred to sub centres based on their eligibility.
Natco Trust organised a dental check-up camp in Borabanda to cater to the health needs of children residing in a highly concentrated urban slum in Hyderabad.
Natco Trust conducted a special medical camp in which 287 paediatric and 227 gynaecology patients across 17 villages were screened and given free consultation and medicines. The camp was organised in Chintalapalem, Nagarjuna Sagar programme area. The patients that needed to be followed up were referred to Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad.
